Founder of On The Edge
On The Edge, (OTE), was established as a 501c3 in 2008. The founders, Robert and Dianne Kasper, have a child with autism and 40+ years of water-skiing experience. Robert Kasper has a civil engineering education. He has been successfully designing and fabricating adaptive water ski equipment for adaptive people during this time. Mr. Kasper had a 36 year long, successful career in engineering/project management for Bechtel, the #1 engineering construction company in the world. This has afforded Mr. Kasper the knowledge, intelligence, and experience to create unique equipment that provides adaptive people the ability to ski and participate in other water sports behind a boat.

Jaime Bonifay is a leader in process engineering helping to exceed customers expectations while also leaning the process to be more efficient. She works at TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank, as a Business Excellence Program Lead within the Business Process Transformation department. Jaime is passionate about creating connecting communities and in addition to serving on the board for On The Edge, she also serves on The Women’s Resource Center board and supports numerous other organizations through volunteering and donations. Jaime is married to her husband Tim Bonifay, an avid boater and water skier, and together they have three children.

“Theresa is a mother of three, an educator and Realtor in Winter Haven, Fl. She currently teaches at Frank E. Brigham Academy as the P.E Para and absolutely loves the children she teaches. She is a Realtor with Crosby and Associates Inc. and works hard with families to get them into their dream homes. She moved to Winter Haven in 2012 and was introduced to the sport of water skiing through the Cypress Gardens Water Ski Team. Her son joined in 2015 and has been hooked ever since! She has grown quite a love for the sport and what it has done to bring families together. She aids in promotions and sales for the team and volunteers her time to help wherever she can. She was introduced to On The Edge through an adaptive clinic that CGWST hosted and also living next to Bob and Dianne Kasper.
On The Edge is an amazing foundation that does so much for the sport of water skiing. Being at an OTE event and seeing the joy that it brings to so many, that would not have the chance to be on the water otherwise, is truly awe inspiring. Bob and Dianne Kasper have the most giving, kind spirits and their passion for others is infectious. I am honored to be part of a board that gives back and helps enrich lives.”

“I worked for Budweiser in North Carolina, Colorado and Florida in Management. Was in charge of the 4th largest warehouse in the US involving Logistics.
I am currently in the process of R&D of Whussiz Bbq sauce company.
My reason for joining OTE is because the passion they have to help everyone enjoy life through outdoors activities; water skiing, wake boarding, paddle boarding, etc. Even snow sports.
I had a brother that was paralyzed and I wish he could have enjoyed the activities that OTE offers. I get great enjoyment by giving back through him. Go OTE!!.”

When I woke up from a coma the doctor informed me that the two main reasons my body did not want to give up was one, God, and two, because of the condition I kept my body in. From that day forward I have made it a priority to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I found that my passion is to help people achieve their fitness goals, building friendships through the process. All that has had a domino effect to show me that my passion is to lend a hand (pun intended)."

“I met Bob and Dianne with On the Edge CF in 2019. I was searching for a sit water ski that I would be able to afford. I came across one number, called it and they gave me Bob and Dianne’s number.
When I called Bob, he answered and I told him a little bit about my brain injury. I had told him that I’m on a limited income but would really love to find a sit water ski that is used, so I can afford it. He said that they were having an event down in Florida, with Ann’s Angels. He invited me to go down and I had the time of my life.
Bob and Dianne are so kind, caring and open hearted. They asked me what I used to do and I told him. I owned my own business for 27 years and I had 3 to 4 employees, with a 350 inpatient hospital. I also was an EMT for 10 years for my town.
I was asked what I like to do, and I said I love the water and that’s the main reason why I would like to get a sit ski. Bob told me about this slalom course that you can be timed in doing. I said, “Oh I love competition. I would love to know more.” So Bob and Dianne gave me a new goal in life, and that in turn gave me hope. I am so grateful that I have met them both. I love them so much.”

“Glenda first found her love of charity work, when she joined Women for Women International’s as an unpaid intern in fall 2008. That same year, she hosted her first fundraiser raising $200; and shared many stories of female entrepreneurship in war-torn countries. In 2009, she traveled to Pascuales, Ecuador to help build a school for underprivileged children through Children of Guayaquil. For months before the trip, she fundraised and collected clothing and calculators to bring to Ecuador. In 2011, she was nominated as a Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) Woman of the Year candidate, and raised $40,000. She took over as Executive Director for Dreams For Kids DC (DFKDC) in September 2011. Over the past five years, she has developed numerous corporate partnerships, engaged hundreds of new volunteers and empowered hundreds of children with disabilities. The empowerment these children feel and learn from all of DFKDC's activities propel them through school, work and life. She also owns Elpis Experience, a PR and Events firm, where she dedicates one event per year to a charity. Despite having two start-ups, she still finds time to support other charities, such as Mama Hope, LLS, UrbanLight, and more!
